TECHnique ("the App") is operated by ADAI. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application.

Information We Collect

Account Information

• Email address
• First and last name
• Password (stored securely hashed, never in plain text)
• Authentication provider (email, Apple, Google, or Facebook)

Dance Videos

• Videos are sent to our servers for 3D motion data processing
• Videos are processed into anonymous joint position data
• Original videos are stored temporarily for processing and may be retained for playback

Usage Data

• Routine and practice run scores
• Progress tracking data
• Diamond purchase history
• Incident reports you submit

Device Information

• Device token for push notifications (only if you grant permission)
• Biometric authentication preference (stored locally, not sent to our servers)

How We Use Your Information

• To provide the service — processing dance videos, generating 3D motion data, scoring practice runs, tracking progress
• To authenticate you — securely managing your account and session
• To send notifications — alerting you when routines or practice runs finish processing
• To improve the service — analyzing anonymized usage patterns
• To process purchases — managing diamond transactions via Apple's In-App Purchase system

Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect location data
• We do not collect contacts or address book data
• We do not use advertising trackers or analytics SDKs
• We do not sell your data to third parties
• We do not use your videos for any purpose other than generating your motion data

Data Storage and Security

• All data is transmitted over HTTPS (TLS encryption)
• Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms
• Authentication tokens are stored in the iOS Keychain
• User-submitted text is sanitized to prevent injection attacks
• Diamond purchases are verified through Apple's App Store Server API

Third-Party Services

• Apple Sign In — for authentication (Apple's privacy policy applies)
• Google Sign In — for authentication (Google's privacy policy applies)
• Facebook Login — for authentication (Facebook's privacy policy applies)
• Apple In-App Purchases — for diamond purchases (Apple's terms apply)
• Move API — for video-to-motion-data processing

Your Rights

You may:

• Access your data through the app's Profile screen
• Delete your account by contacting us at support@technique.app
• Opt out of push notifications via iOS Settings
• Disable biometric lock at any time in the app's Profile settings

Children's Privacy

TECHnique is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

Data Retention

• Account data is retained as long as your account is active
• Dance videos and motion data are retained as long as the associated routine exists
• If you delete a routine, the associated motion data is deleted
• If you delete your account, all associated data is deleted within 30 days

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy within the app and updating the "Last updated" date.
